A brutal wall of sound that celebrates resilience in the face of transphobic hatred. That in each assault, each venomous barb, there is simply a new opportunity for defiant growth. ‘The knives they cut deep but no blood will flow, from the wounds that are made for the flowers that grow’. The onslaught of blast beats, brutal vocals and fast tremolo picked riffs do not let up as ever increasing tension begs for release.
lyrics
They are unanimous in their hate for me and I welcome their hate!
You are the gardener, with the words that you speak,
Of blooms that grow bright, of roots that grow deep
Each painful attack, strength mothered by you,
Each venomous barb, births power anew
These defiant seeds, you cannot halt
My flesh is the soil, you cannot salt
These shoots burst forth, born in hatred
Their search for joy, unabated
Nothing but growth from your violence created
You break through the ground, in order to kill,
But all that you do, is strengthen our will,
Nature mistaken, now fully corrected,
Made strong by your blade, hardened, perfected
These defiant seeds, you cannot halt
My flesh is the soil, you cannot salt
These shoots burst forth, born in hatred
Their search for joy, unabated
Nothing but love by your venom created
The knives they cut deep,
But no blood will flow,
From wounds that are made,
For the flowers that grow
The knives they cut deep,
But no blood will flow,
From wounds that are made,
For the flowers that grow

I have the last couple of albums. They are great, but this one just smashes it. Dark, hard, but has such great flow. It really balances everything so well across the album. a fav listen. Imnotevans

What an absolutely beautiful album! This is what black metal really leads to; beautiful and powerful expressions of anger, mourning, and joy that lead to real change for those suffering! I can’t say enough good things about this album! The huge range of genres is incredible as well! deathmoth829
